Saturday walk

Here is Nicky and Mully

Last Saturday I went out with my friend Nicky and her dog Mully, Nicky had Tango’s sisiter Indy, but she unfortunatley died a couple of years ago, she was a sweet little lady, not unlike Tango but much prettier. We went for a walk in the New Forest and I took a couple or so pictures so though I’d share them with you

Just as we were leaving the ponies decided to block the path,Nicky got through but I just sat there and waited

This guy got nosy

And he got closer

I thought maybe he wanted a lift

It was a nice day and we enjoyed a good two hour walk

Thank you for visiting and please come back, Arlene, Tango and Ruby

  1. And here we have a new breed of dog….the Bearded Pony!! A little grizzled round the ears and a touch hairy around the chin…but great back seat driver!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • It nearly was in the back seat Wolfie, I couldn’t swivel round to take a pic, it was eye-balling T&R, who were sitting in the back looking quiet puzzled as to what it was.

Great Pics! I rather like the scruffy one too! LOL

    • Wouldn’t fancy having to give it a bath though ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Hi Kirsten nice to hear from someone, yes the countryside is nice around here, You made me smile about the scruffy horse, they live in the Forest all year fairley wild, though get rounded up I think it’s once a year and checked, they are owned by what’s known as the Commoners, that is people who live in the forest and have grazing rights to let out their livestock, The horses have their tails cut a certain way for identification, and wear reflective collars as they roam all over as there are roads running through the Forest. with cars.

  4. such lovely countryside! i love thout of doors, even the unpleasant places … though i rather be in a pleasant one ๐Ÿ˜‰ it could so easily be the pacific northwest here!

the horses are quite entertaining. i like the nosey one, but he needs a shave. looking a bit scruffy … heh
