Always Look Up

I was sent this to-day and I thought it too good not to share, Thank you all for your previous comments about the sunsets and kind ones on the painting.

Iā€™m hoping to come visiting as many of you as I can.

Have a lovely week end.

If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8
feet and is entirely open at the top, the
bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will
be an absolute prisoner. The reason is
That a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground
with a Run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space
to run, as is its habit, It will not even
attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner
for life in a small jail with no top.

The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a
remarkable nimble creature in the air,
cannot take off from a level place.
If it is placed on the floor or flat
ground, all it can do is shuffle about
helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, until it
reaches some slight elevation from which it can
throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it
takes off like a flash.

A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will
be there until it dies, unless it is taken out.
It never sees the means of escape at the
top, but persists in trying to find some way out
through the sides near the bottom.. It
will seek a way where none exists, until it
completely destroys itself..

In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and
the bumblebee. We struggle about with all our
problems and frustrations, never realizing that
all we have to do is look up! That’s the
Answer, the escape route and the solution to any problem! Just look up.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up!
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and

trust in our Creator who loves us.

  1. Spot on Arlene šŸ™‚ And I loved the graphics!

  2. Trying to post comment again. Sometimes I forget to look up when I’m worried. Then I remember that He always works it out.

  3. Loving this color and brick wall which is appropriate for this blog. Sometimes I forget to look up when I’m worried, but then I realize that He always works it out.

    • Thank you GR Gran, I was hoping that someone would make a comment on my new blog face, so thank you very much. Glad you liked the post and found the meaning in it.

  4. I always try and look upwards Arlene, when I’m searching for the right word, or trying to think nice thoughts…Never seems right to look downwards. Thanks for sharing, have a great week-end and double {{{hugs}}} to you Tango and Ruby Tuesday… from me …..xxxx

    • Pen I can’t imagine you being stuck for the right word, glad you appreciated the post, Not a lot going on on my weekend, still gardening, clearing out lots of undergrowth, and have asked an old friend if he will bring his trailer round to take the branches to the tip, So that will take care of Saturday, Sunday evening got some friends coming round for a game of cards or something and a bite of supper.
Hugs returned, I’m catching up with everyone, but I’m getting very tired and almost ready for bed and it’s just 9 pm. I had a restless night last night., Now who have I not visited, [looking up for an answer ] that hug you sent looked shaky , but it was warm and welcoming nevertheless. šŸ™‚

      • Hope things are OK Arlene, I’m finding that WordPress is changing things about again… that ‘following’ tag, has been changed to ‘Read Blogs’ now…Just like Supermarkets when they change things around to try and make you buy something different, never works…and just makes me ‘extra mad’ !!!! šŸ˜€ Hugs to you, Tango and Ruby Tuesday,.. from me….xxxPenxxx
