2 Very Tough Questions

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Read the next question before looking at the response for this one.

Question 2:

It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts.
Here are the facts about the three candidates.
Candidate A:
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists.
He’s had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 Martinis a day.
Candidate B:
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in
college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.
Candidate C:
He is a decorated war hero. He’s a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks
an occasional beer and never committed adultery.
Which of these candidates would be our choice?
Decide first… No peeking, and then scroll down for the response.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Candidate B is Winston Churchill.

Candidate C is Adolf Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion question:
If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.
Pretty interesting isn’t it?
Makes a person think before judging someone.

  1. Had the distinct feeling that I would make some very bad choices there…certainly wasn’t wrong! Never judge a book by its cover 🙂
Btw re pen’s comment about Tango? Is he poorly? Whatever it is I do hope he’s ok? Gently wolfie nuzzles and licks for him 🙂

  2. HI Arlene,
just dropping by to check about Tango, to find out how he is, really hoping it’s just an upset and nothing worse. Healing hugs and woofs and licks from a worried Pen and Bess.. xxx

    • Hi Pen and Wolfie, thanks for comments, and am glad to say that Tango is now OK, I think I know what the problem was, I checked his doings this morning and it was full of bird seed!I remembered I’d taken down the feeders to clean them and some of the seed had sprouted and was a bit mouldy, it fell on the grass and I thought nothing of it, so it seems to tie up, he’s been fine since, thankfully, though he is slower at eating, though at least he’s not twittering. Thanks for your concern, he’s sending big licks to all of you,

  3. I think we’ve all been guilty at making quickfire and sometimes wrong judgments.
Thanks Kirsten and Pen for visiting

  4. wow! it makes you realize you need all the facts before making a judgement
and even then you cant know for certain what someone will do.
    good post!
    k☼

  5. Hi Arlene, I had a feeling you had to pause and REALLY think about these two questions.. but I was still shocked by the answers…and yes, it does make you think twice. It’s so easy to knee jerk and be utterly wrong in your first erroneous impressions. xPenx
